Domowoi reads the sensors in the rooms you assign to it and turns them into recommendations on indoor climate, energy and comfort. Not for one room, but for every room it knows about.

The groundwork comes from a research project called Vise-I. Turning it into something for everyday use at home was entirely my own initiative.

The hardest decision was the logic: how to build it, and which things you can honestly recommend. Part of that is recognizing sensors reliably, even when they show up in different languages and under different names.

One step is still manual: the 3D model of the ghost isn’t copied over during installation, so you have to do that once by hand.
