A platform that gathers good practices for a social and ecological transformation, with a collection, a map, an SDG model and a method kit.
The examples come from art, culture and design, and each one is sorted by the seventeen UN sustainability goals. It’s a joint project of the Wuppertal Institute and the Faculty of Design and Art at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal, funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia. Design and programming were done by dform in Vienna.
I was on the project team at the Wuppertal Institute and looked after the technical development and the work with dform.
The hardest question was how the content would come about. I built a complete AI pipeline in ComfyUI to produce as much of it as possible for the site. In the end the team decided to write everything by hand instead, so the pipeline never went into use. That’s probably for the better.
