The shape follows the hand and is small enough to come along on a trip. It’s closed and soft, so the device doesn’t catch on anything, in your hand or in your wash bag.

The matrix display picks up the visual language of old Braun shavers and takes it a step further. It sits behind the dotted area on the front and only appears when there’s something to show.

The hard part was the inside. Two cells had to fit, so a charge lasts for a longer stay, plus an electric height adjustment for the comb. Getting all of that into a housing that still feels small in the hand was the actual work.
